Things I Didn't Want to Say

There are things I didn't want to say,
And I embarrass myself that way.
But in my heart,
I know it's smart,
To tell you this,
Before you miss,
The meaning of this poem,
And don't tell me wrong.
I like you.
You know it's true.
You like me.
That's how it will always be.
Unless someday we meet someone else,
And to tell the other we'd embarrass ourselves.
But until then,
We are more than friends.
Well saying this makes me feel like I will drop,
But afterward it all pays off.
