One Day

The sacred wood that lies on a hill,
Where a truthful man was once killed,
Rolled over with stone to cover Him up,
But death cannot take over for He will rise up.

Now on earth His work is done.
Christ had fought the devil and the good has won.
He now waits for us in heaven today.
For we will be with Him shortly one day.

Life should not be wasted on greed and money,
Even though it is not as smooth as honey.
Our time is limited down here on our planet,
So treat it like you would treat priceless granite.
