Biomes Grassland: The grassland biome is one that has a lot of little grasses and small plants. There are't any trees and there is about 40-60 inches of rainfall every year. The grassland animals are antolope, rattle snake, zebra, lion, hyena, and other grassland animals Tundra: The tundra is a cold place. It has very little rainfall but it comes down as snow; 1 inch of snow is equivalent to 1/10 and inch of rain. The tundra has animals that can take the cold weather, such as owls, birds, foxes, and other such animals. Taiga: The taiga is a small less harsh tundra. It has long harsh winters with little precipitation. Animals such as elk, derr, foxes, bears, and other animals live here. Temperate Deciduous Forest: The temperate deciduous biome is the biome that we live in. We have a moderate amount of rainfall and a numerous amount of animals. We have deciduous plants which loose there leaves. Tropocal Rain Forest: The Tropical Rain Forest has the most rain out of any of the Biomes. It also has the most plant and aninal life. Its temperature is about 70-85 degrees yearly. Most of the animals are bugs, birds and small mammals. Temperate Rain Forest: The Temperate Rain Forest is 15-30 degrees for the equator and gets about 175-200 inches of rain. This place has large trees and small animals and insects. Desert: The desert is the most dry and hottest of the Biomes and recieves about 2-3 inches of rain a year. It is very dry but the animals get what they need in that one or 2 storms a year. the desert animals and plants are the cactus, flowers, smakes, and lizards
