Muscular System

The muscular system controls all of the body’s movement. There are three types of muscles: voluntary, involuntary, and cardiac. Voluntary muscles are controlled by our thoughts. They are attached to the skeleton by tendons and control its movement. Involuntary muscles work without any thought. They are in places like the stomach, intestines, and veins. The cardiac muscles are also involuntary and control the beating of the heart.
